The Client, by placing an order via email or telephone, agrees that they accept the conditions of the hiring agreement.
Xquisite Teepees will retain a booking form/hire agreement for the hire of the goods, which the Client, or agent of the Client, will be supplied a copy of upon request.
If the agreement is not signed by the Client, this does NOT forfeit the agreement.
Hiring Charges – Unless prior arrangements are made the charges are for a 24-hour period. The charges are for the agreed period as per the Agreement.
If the equipment is unavailable for pick up or return, Xquisite Teepees reserves the right to charge the Client for extra time as per the 24-hour rate.
Postponement – If the Client chooses to postpone the hire of the equipment, cancellation charges will apply. See below.
Cancellation/Reschedule – Cancellation 2 weeks or more – If the Client cancels two weeks or more before the event date or need to reschedule, your 50% deposit will be used as a credit toward a new event within 12 months of the original event date. The Client is entitled to a refund of any amount paid above the 50% deposit.
Cancellation within 2 weeks – If the Client cancels within two weeks of the event date, the full payment will be used as a credit toward a new event within 12 months of the original event date.
Cancellation within 24 hours – If the Client cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled delivery time, your full payment, will be used as a credit toward a new event within 12 months of the original event date.
The Delivery date is usually the day of the function / booked date, unless otherwise specified.
Deposit – A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The deposit is deducted from the total.
Payment – A $100 refundable deposit is needed to secure your booking, once the equipment has been collected undamaged and fully tested (normally within 48 hours) it will be refundable. In the unlikely event that any items are damaged replacement costs will be deducted.
Delivery and Pickup – A $50 delivery fee is applied to all parties. Times can be discussed on request. An extra delivery charge may apply if the Business needs to reschedule the delivery or return to the premises once delivery has taken place. Payment options include electronic transfer.
Receipt of Delivery – The Client is responsible for being present to accept delivery of the equipment. The Client handles any loss or damage incurred if He / She arranges equipment to be delivered without being present or without an authorized agent present. The Client handles loss or damage resulting from equipment being delivered to an unattended premises or location as requested by the Client.
Positioning/Setting up of Equipment – If the Client has booked set up of the equipment, the Client handles clearing the furniture before Xquisite Teepees arrive and clearly showing where the equipment it to be setup. Xquisite Teepees will take precautions to care for but shall not be liable for any damage to the site, site access, furniture, or personal belongings.
Use of Equipment – The Client is responsible for checking the quantity of hired items against the invoice/agreement upon delivery and should contact Xquisite Teepees immediately at 202 322-6956 to advise of any discrepancy or damage discovered.
Advice after the function will not be considered as advice and the Client will be, liable for any loss or damage to the Equipment. Damage to the equipment during use is the responsibility of the Client and the Client agrees that repair or replacement charges for damaged equipment will be actioned after the hire date. If at any time during the hire period the Client considers the equipment to be faulty, it is the Clients responsibility to contact Xquisite Tepees by telephone to report the problem. Xquisite Teepees reserves the right to repair or replace the faulty equipment as soon as practicable during the hire period to the reasonable satisfaction of the Client.
The Client should not attempt to repair the Equipment without prior consent of Xquisite Teepees. Call out charges, relative to the time of day, will be due and payable if the equipment is found not to be faulty as claimed by the Client.
Xquisite Teepees will not be liable for any loss, damage or expenditure incurred by the Client due to faulty Equipment for any reason whatsoever. At the end of the hire period the Client should leave the equipment as is and Business will break down and pack the equipment.
Sanitation – A $25 cleaning fee will apply to all parties to launder the equipment and decor.
Insurance – Insurance is the Client’s responsibility during the hire period. The Client is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the Hire period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the Client at full replacement value.
Liability to Third Parties – Xquisite Teepees will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss, or damage to the property; however, unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, workmanship, or negligence on the part of the Business. Xquisite Teepees decision is final in all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions of Hire.
